Single-Layer Bubble Film Manufacturing Machine
Extrusion Molding: The manufacturing process of single-layer bubble film is relatively straightforward. After the raw materials (mainly plastic particles such as polyethylene) are heated and melted, the molten plastic, in sheet form, is extruded through the extruder. The speed and temperature control of the extruder screw are relatively simple. The main objective is to plasticize the plastic evenly and extrude a base film with a suitable thickness.
Bubble Molding: The extruded base film directly enters the bubble molding device, where air is injected into the film through the air nozzle to form bubbles. It is then cooled and shaped to fix the bubble structure. The entire process is completed in one go, with minimal need for adjustment of process parameters and high production efficiency. However, the functionality of the bubble film is relatively limited.
Multi-Layer Bubble Film Manufacturing Machine
Co-Extrusion Molding: The multi-layer bubble film manufacturing machine needs to process multiple raw materials simultaneously. Plastic particles with different properties are melted by multiple extruders and then co-extruded in the mold to form a multi-layer molten film. This process requires precise control of the temperature, pressure, and extrusion speed of each extruder to ensure that each layer of raw materials can be evenly integrated and maintain their respective performance characteristics.
Complex Bubble Forming: Due to the multi-layer structure, the bubble forming process is more intricate. Not only must the formation of bubbles be considered, but also the close fit between the layers must be ensured. Typically, specially designed molds and bubble forming devices are used to inject and form bubbles in stages to ensure the uniform distribution and stability of bubbles in the multi-layer film structure.
Composition and Post-Processing: After the multi-layer bubble film is formed, it is often necessary to carry out composite treatment to enhance the bonding force between the layers. Additionally, depending on different usage requirements, post-processing processes such as printing and coating may be added to give the bubble film additional functions, such as moisture resistance and anti-static properties.

2. Equipment Configuration Differences
Single-Layer Bubble Film Manufacturing Machine
Extrusion System: Typically equipped with a single extruder. The screw diameter and aspect ratio are configured based on production capacity and raw material characteristics. The structure is relatively simple, and the heating and cooling devices are also relatively basic, meeting the extrusion requirements of single-layer film.
Bubble Forming Device: Mainly includes air nozzles, forming molds, and cooling devices. The number of air nozzles is small, and the mold design is relatively conventional to meet the formation of single-layer bubbles. The cooling device generally adopts air cooling or water cooling, and does not require high equipment space and energy consumption.
Tractive and Winding System: The speed adjustment range of the traction device is relatively small, and the winding system is relatively simple. It is mainly used to neatly wind up the formed bubble film.
Multi-Layer Bubble Film Manufacturing Machine
Extrusion System: Equipped with multiple extruders, each corresponding to a raw material, and requires precise temperature control and extrusion volume adjustment devices to ensure the ratio and quality of each layer of raw materials. The coordination requirements between extruders are high, and usually equipped with a linkage control system.
Bubble Forming and Composite Device: The bubble forming device is more complex. The mold design must account for the needs of multi-layer structure and bubble formation. Multi-layer mold superposition or special bubble injection methods may be used. The composite device is used to combine the multi-layer film tightly together. Common methods include hot pressing composite, adhesive composite, etc., and the corresponding equipment configuration is also more complex.
Auxiliary Equipment: To meet the production and post-processing needs of multi-layer films, multi-layer bubble film manufacturing machines are usually equipped with more auxiliary equipment, such as printing machines, coating machines, tension control systems, etc., to achieve multi-functional production.
