The production process of foaming membranes consists of the following key steps:
Material Preparation and mixing of raw materials:
Different types of resin raw materials such as low density polyethylene (LDPE) resin are selected according to the soft and hard requirements of bubble film.
The material pellets are pulled into a blender and mixed in proportion to ensure uniformity.
Raw Material Melting:
The mixture is piped into an extruder.
At high temperatures (typically around 230°C Celsius), the raw material pellets are melted to form a resin paste.
Film Forming:
Melted resin paste is fed into a film blower.
The resin is extruded and expanded, and air is simultaneously injected into the film at the outlet to form a cylindrical film. The air injection ensures a more uniform film thickness.
Bubble Forming:
The cylindrical film is cut in two and rolled onto the reel.
The two sheets of paper are then pressed together to form a double film, which is then heated to soften. The softened film is slowly wound around a perforated vacuum forming roller. A thin film is the perforations and sucked up, creating a vacuum bubble. Multiple small holes in the molding roller hole are connected to the machine to extract air, creating numerous bubbles in the film.
Layering and cooling:
The bubbled film binds to another heated membrane to form a composite membrane.
The composite film is cooled and solidified gradually to room temperature and solidified to prevent deformation during transportation and storage.
Cropping and binding:
The cured bubble film is cut to the customer's desired size.
The cut bubble film is then rolled and bundled into a product of specified specifications for easy packaging and transport.
Quality Inspection and packaging:
After cutting, the bubble film should be quality inspection for appearance, thickness, bubble density and compressive strength.
Qualified bubble film is packaged in eco-friendly packaging materials to ensure the safety of the product during transportation and storage.
