Double Die Head Film Blowing Machine

This double head film blowing machine is normally used to produce film rolls for t-shirt bags in the width range of approximately 100 to 600 mm. When larger extruders are used to produce such a narrow range of film rolls, it is often difficult to achieve higher capacities.

In Twin Head Blown Film Machine, a larger extruder system (e.g. 65 mm or 75 mm diameter) can be used to achieve a higher output capacity even with smaller film widths by splitting the higher capacity into two with double die head system. This solution is particularly advantageous for vest bag manufacturers who are looking for higher capacity but relatively low production costs.

Compared to single die head systems, dual die head film blowers can produce smaller film roll widths while achieving higher throughputs, mainly because the high extrusion output can be spread over two die head runners instead of being concentrated in a single die head.

The screw O.D. can be 55mm, 60mm, 65mm and 75mm and the film width can range from 100 to 600mm. this two head film blowing machine allows manufacturers to produce HDPE and LDPE film and to adjust the film width on separate winders at the same time.

The special screw design of this machine is used to provide better mixing and stable output of HDPE and LDPE feeds. The twin screw metal treatment is used to process a higher proportion of recycled material and CaCO3 compound additions.
